Oven Baked Salmon

Oven baked salmon is one my favorite recipes. It's quick, easy, and requires very little clean up. In a hot Summer kitchen quick and easy recipes are must in my opinion.

I highly recommend that you source your salmon from a sustainable source. Going down to your local big box grocery store is not going to cut it here. That being said, it that is all you can do, well, so be it. However, if your like me, I love seafood. I highly recommend using Wild Alaskan Company for sustainably, fresh caught seafood. They deliver straight to your door on a subscription basis. You can cancel, or pause at anytime. Here is the link to get $25 off your first order:

INGREDIENTS:

2 tsp of olive oil

12 oz salmon filet cut in 4 pieces

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp dill

the zest of one lemon or the juice of one lemon to serve on top

DIRECTIONS:

  • Pre-heat your oven to 450 degrees

  • Pour the olive oil on the salmon, be sure to really rub it in the meat

  • Combine salt, pepper, paprika, chilli powder, and dill into dish

  • Sprinkle the seasonings on to the fish

  • Place fish into the oven for 12 minutes

  • Once cooked pour lemon juice and zest over the fish and serve

You could pair this salmon with a caprese salad, as pictured above
